How to Turn off Flashlight on iPhone 11, 12, X, SE

METHOD 1

Turn off Flashlight on iPhone: Using Siri

You can use Siri to turn off or on the iPhone flashlight with a single command. This works on both old and new iPhone’s and iPad’s. Below are some commands that you can use with Siri to light up the flashlight torch off:

• “Hey Siri, turn on flashlight.” or “Hey Siri, turn off flashlight”
• “Hey Siri, Please turn on my flashlight” or “Hey Siri, Please turn off my flashlight” 
• “Hey Siri, can you turn off my flashlight.”
• Hey Siri turn on my flashlight.

It’s as easy as that. With just one Siri command turn on the torch flashlight on any iOS device (iOS 8, iOS 9, iOS 10, iOS 11, iOS 12, iOS 13, iOS 14)

METHOD 2

Turn off Flashlight on iPhone: Using Control Center

Works with iPhone 11, iPhone 10, iPhone X, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 pro, and iPad Pro. Turn flashlight off now:

1. You have to Swipe down from the top-right corner to open your iPhone’s or iPad’s Control center.
2. Now tap the Flashlight button . Your iPhone torch is on now.
3. If you want to Turn off the flashlight, just press or tap the Torch button again.

You can also turn on or off the flashlight even if the iPhone or iPad is locked. Just Press and hold the Flashlight button, which you can see in the bottom corner of the screen.

Add Flashlight shortcut on iPhone lock screen

1. Tap Lock screen.
2. Tap Shortcuts.
3. Tap Left shortcut or Right shortcut.
4. Tap Flashlight.
5. And add it to the lock screen

Turn off Flashlight on iPhone 6, iPhone 7 , iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone SE

1. On older iPhone’s, Swipe up from the bottom of the screen
2. Control center will open on your iPhone or iPad
3. Just tap on the flashlight icon (which you can see in the below image) to turn on or off the flashlight.

How to adjust the brightness of your iPhone flashlight

You can increase or decrease the flashlight or torch brightness on your iPhone.

Increase brightness on Iphone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s:

1. Unlock iPhone or iPad
2. From control center > go to > Flashlight icon
3. Long press Flashlight torch icon
4. Now you can adjust the flashlight brightness of your iPhone using sliding panel.

Increase brightness on IPhone X, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 12, iPhone 11 Pro Max:

1. Unlock iPhone or iPad
2. Swipe down from right corner, then control Center > go to > Flashlight icon
3. Long press Flashlight torch icon
4. Now you can adjust the flashlight brightness of your iPhone using sliding panel.
